Blog of the database for Nogizaka46, the J-pop female idol group
5th generation member Ikeda Teresa was unveiled on March 18, 2022, in a YouTube video. She is the 9th of 11 members in her generation whose identity has been revealed.
She has been added to the 5th gen special section in the database but not the main DB because her date of birth isn’t known.
The composers and arrangers for the 29th single and all coupling songs became known after they were released for subscription services a week ahead of the official release.
They have been added to the Nogizaka46 database.
The product details for the 29th single were announced, and the coupling songs were added to the database.
Nogizaka46 announced that 11 members will join the group as the 5th generation.
Of these, the profiles of 8 members were disclosed, and these were added to the database.
1st generation member Hoshino Minami has graduated from the group.
She was senbatsu 27 times, failing to make the cut only in the 7th and 8th singles. She was the under center for the 7th single.
2nd generation member Shinichi Mai has graduated from Nogizaka46.
Known as “Maichun”, she was the oldest member of the group for the last several years.
She was senbatsu 15 times, all in the 3rd row. She has been senbatsu 14 times in a row since the 16th single.
Nogizaka46 announced that 11 members have been accepted as the 5th generation through the audition in which there were 87,852 applicants.
Their profiles will be published, one member each day, starting at noon on Feb. 2 (Tokyo time) on the official Nogizaka Haishinchu YouTube channel.
Their info will be added to the database as official profile are released.
2nd generation member Kitano Hinako wrote in her blog that she will graduate from the group.
She said that she expects to leave around the end of April. She will not participate in the 29th single as a senbatsu or under member.
1st generation member Ikuta Erika has graduated. Her last day was Dec. 31, 2021, and her last performance was the Kouhaku Uta Gassen (NHK Red and White Song Battle) on New Year’s Eve.
She was a front member in the early days of the group and her vocal skills supported the singing of the group as a whole. She was senbatsu 28 times (including “Route 246”) and was senbatsu for all songs except when she was on hiatus to focus on schoolwork during the 9th single.
Ikuta was center once. She has 4 solo songs, which is the second-most after Nishino Nanase’s 6.
She is expected to follow her dream to become a musical actress.
