Blog of the database for Nogizaka46, the J-pop female idol group
Sakurazaka46 announced on Jan. 5, 2023, that 11 members have passed the 3rd generation members audition.
Introduction videos and profiles will be released for one member each day starting on Jan. 6. Two of the members will join the group in March due for academic reasons.
There were 45,014 applicants for this audition.
This database will add information about the new members as they become known.
5th generation member Ikeda Teresa was unveiled on March 18, 2022, in a YouTube video. She is the 9th of 11 members in her generation whose identity has been revealed.
She has been added to the 5th gen special section in the database but not the main DB because her date of birth isn’t known.
Nogizaka46 announced that 11 members have been accepted as the 5th generation through the audition in which there were 87,852 applicants.
Their profiles will be published, one member each day, starting at noon on Feb. 2 (Tokyo time) on the official Nogizaka Haishinchu YouTube channel.
Their info will be added to the database as official profile are released.
